Study: Soy May Benefit Breast Cancer Survivors
In recent studies, women who have had breast cancer and are frequently consuming Soy are less likely to die or have a reoccurrence of cancer. Every day I complain to someone in my family that somewhere one of my muscles is aching or that I have horrible pains in my back. For my fourth weekly posting I thought it would be interesting and beneficial for consumers to know what kind of teas are the best for you and your health. Tea is the number one consumed beverage around the world and most people believe that only green tea can improve your health, but when I came across the article, “The Best Beneficial Teas for Good Health” I found that many teas can be excellent for improving your health. Tea contains antioxidants that can be good for fighting of cancer, and heart disease. Oolong, green, white and black teas are especially valuable over even vegetables and fruit. These teas are derived from the Camellia Sinensis which has healing properties. As to previous belief by consumers, Herbal teas do not have the same healing properties as do those other teas that come in many flavors and colors. Herbal Teas can help with stress relief and also upset stomachs.

Drinking Tea can be both tasteful and positive for improving a consumer’s health. I was interested in learning more about other benefits of drinking tea; I mean it is the number one drink consumed. Another good result of tea is that it contains about half the caffeine that coffee contains. Tea is also considered to boost your immune system to fight off infection so you can find a lot of different great types and brands of teas for when you are feeling a little blue.

1990- Food Labeling was established under the Nutrition Labeling Education Act. This act required manufactures to give specific information on the content of their product and therefore consumers could monitor their nutritional intake.
