Study: Soy May Benefit Breast Cancer Survivors
In recent studies, women who have had breast cancer and are frequently consuming Soy are less likely to die or have a reoccurrence of cancer. The study on Soy helping breast cancer survivors is followed from a study done in China from 5,000 women who underwent a mastectomy for about four years in which the women consumed about 15 grams or more of Soy a day. In the past doctors were skeptic and believed that Soy was bad for breast cancer patients, and most believe that this new study has caused a major turn around and is now believed to really improve the likeliness of better health for these cancer patients. Soy are rich in naturally occurring estrogens, which in most breast cancer cases the estrogen is what is needed to make the cancer grow, but now with the study being published it looks that having that much estrogen helps protect the immune system from the amount of estrogen that can be produced to form cancer cells. Although this study was taken it has yet to be confirmed in the United States that soy actually helps keep Estrogen levels down in women with estrogen-sensitive breast cancer. If you or anyone you know has been suffering with this horrible cancer, please take a long look at this article and also some of the other links provided on that website about the benefits or disadvantages of soy products and breast cancer.

Have you ever felt so overwhelmed and tried that you didn’t think you’d make it through your long list of things to accomplish that day? These drugs can be obtained legally through a doctor, through friends who don’t use their prescriptions and through the illegal pharmaceutical black market. Stretching: Focus on flexibility: You can stretch anytime, anywhere. Consider the benefits of stretching, such as increased flexibility and circulation. Then ready, set, stretch!

Every day I complain to someone in my family that somewhere one of my muscles is aching or that I have horrible pains in my back. Well the first advice that comes out of anyone is that I need to be stretching on a daily basis. So I thought that for my final suggested reading I would find an excellent article on stretching so that everybody could receive the same good advice that I did and better their health. I found an article by the Mayo Clinic Staff that states what the benefits of stretching would do after any sort of workout because while working out you contract and flex muscles. Some of the benefits of stretching in this article are; increased flexibility, range of motion in your joints, improves circulation and also relieves stress. Another thing the article mentions are the six essentials to stretching which are; target major muscle groups, warm up first, pace yourself, don’t bounce, focus on pain free stretch, and relax and breathe freely. This article explains that even if you do not exercise or workout you should stretch at least three times a week or even more if you have a certain area that hurts you more, like my frequent back pain. Remember stretching is fun and can only benefit you more!
